How You'll Help Us Connect the World:We are looking for a skilled CICD/DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps/Engineering team. As a CICD Engineer, you will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing the automation of software development pipelines, ensuring smooth integration and delivery of code across various environments. You will work closely with development teams to improve deployment processes, accelerate release cycles, and maintain high-quality code through automated testing.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines that automate testing, building, and deployment of software products. Automation: Implement automation scripts to support building, testing, and deployment processes across multiple environments. Integration Support: Ensure seamless integration between various development tools, repositories, and deployment environments (e.g., BitBucket, Jenkins, etc.). Version Control Management: Maintain and manage version control systems (e.g., BitBucket) to ensure proper branching strategies, merge strategies, and code quality enforcement. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain automated testing tools and frameworks to ensure high-quality code is deployed (unit tests, integration tests, etc.). Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor CI/CD pipelines for performance, and handle failures or interruptions in the pipeline. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments. Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure alignment on deployment processes, security practices, and performance optimizations. Infrastructure Management: Ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices are followed by using tools like Ansible for environment provisioning and management. Security and Compliance: Implement security checks in the CI/CD pipeline to ensure safe deployments, such as vulnerability scanning and static code analysis. Documentation & Training: Create clear documentation on CI/CD processes, pipeline configuration, and troubleshooting guides. Provide training to teams on CI/CD best practices. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency of the CI/CD pipeline, deployment cycles, and overall software delivery process.Required Skills & Qualifications
3 to 6 years’ experience along with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong experience with version control systems (e.g., Perforce, BitBucket). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar. Solid knowledge of automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, or Chef. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby. Strong understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and test automation frameworks. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to track CI/CD performance. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with microservices architectures and related deployment strategies. Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD, such as managing secrets, compliance scanning, and secure artifact storage. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence). Familiarity with serverless architectures.What happens after you apply:
