Responsibilities

The Sr. Software Engineer role will be providing overall requirements gathering, design, development and support of CRM and marketing applications for the various subsidiaries of the corporation.

 

Demonstrates a robust understanding of all the business processes and system interfaces of a CRM and marketing system.Designs significant new system functionality with a consideration of performance, stability, and supportability.Reviews and provides feedback on business requirements to fully leverage CRM and marketing technology to improve business functions.Defines standards and design patterns/paradigms for system development within a team.Demonstrates problem-solving skills that span the application, middleware, and infrastructure levels.Leads technical efforts involving multiple engineers.Acts as a mentor to other engineers, promoting their development.Provides guidance on development standards and quality expectations to employees entering the job family.Demonstrates a robust understanding of all functional and technical aspects of CRM and marketing systems.Produces significant new system functionality or defect resolution with minimal direction.Creates design specifications that demonstrate an understanding of interfacing systems and supported business processes.Routinely proposes improvements to a system to improve supportability or usability.Performs adequate peer review on any changes in the system.Provides recommendations to solve business issues based on eperience and knowledge of current CRM and marketing technology.Works collaboratively as part of a development team, which includes interactions with business analysts, quality assurance, and end user resources.Provides high-quality support for our customers.May provide rotating on-call support of production systems.Provides end user mentoring and training in 1-1 and small group settings.Partners with the various subsidiaries to create a vision for future advancement of our applications.Travel for this position is approximately 5-10%. Qualifications 10+ yrs. of software development experience Preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce development using ApexPreferred experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AzurePreferred experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins5 to 10 years of development experience in Microsoft technologies Including ASP.NET, MVC, C# and LINQ5 to 10 years of development experience with web-based technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web services5 to 10 years of relational database experience with MS SQL ServerAbility to thrive and produce results with little or no supervision in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills with ability to interact seamlessly at all levels with both technical and business stakeholdersStrong customer service focus and sense of urgencyAbility to quickly adapt and learn new technologies and systemsSuperior problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to function as a valuable team member inside a virtual collaboration environmentMust have demonstrated the capability of meeting the key accountabilities, or have the ability to learn/perform themBachelor’s degree with emphasis in related field or equivalent experience.
