You Are:

Responsible for planning, designing, developing, monitoring, and supporting new and existing software and web applications in a 24x7x365 global environment. Test script development, testing automation, participate in operations activities, develop and perform monitoring activities, while debugging software components in a complex and innovative environment. Document all activities working in an agile team progressing aggressively in 2-week sprints. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

 

The opportunity:

·       Displays knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.

·       Works on projects under aggressive timelines with a requirement for very high quality.

·       Designs, develops automated test scripts for new software and web services.

·       Provides support for applications under development and enhances current applications.

·       Assists in the roll-out and monitoring of software releases.

·       Provides quality assurance guidance throughout the design, development and testing process and direction with regards to practices, procedures and techniques.

·       Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Quality Engineers.

·       Evaluates and plans software development activities, performs code and test script reviews, and provides test plans, test results and documentation.

·       Participates in researching, writing, and editing of documentation and technical requirements, including sequence diagrams, software designs, demos, acceptance criteria, test results, technical manuals, monitoring plans, support strategies, and any retrospective recommendations.

·       Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.

·       Displays in-depth knowledge of, and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills.

·       Presents and defends design and technical choices to internal audiences.

·       Displays knowledge of, and ability to apply, project management skills, and good decision-making.

·       Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

·       Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

 

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

·       Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Field of Study

·       Computer Science, Engineering Years of Experience

·       Generally requires 5-10 years related experience

·       Key technical skills required are: Test automation, Python, Java REST Assured, SOAP UI. Addition preferred skills are SQL, AppDynamics, Kibana, and Concourse. Agile and Jira experience preferred. This environment has engineers working in Dot Net, Azure, IoT Hub

·       Must be a strong team player, an excellent communicator, and possess and display a positive attitude.

·       Must be able to learn quickly through self-guided learning.

 

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST HealthProof provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range:   $71,000-$107,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
