Our Danfoss Drives location in Loves Park is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Test Engineer to join our team. This position will develop software that ensures a high level of quality for variable frequency drives, focusing on developing software tests that can run on a variety of hardware configurations and across a variety of test environments. 

Job Responsibilities

 

Execute embedded software test projects from planning through maintenance for new and existing products; develop and maintain software for verifying product functionality;

Analyze regression test runs and perform maintenance testing as well as manual verification testing;

Create user stories to facilitate planning and long-term project goals;

Create accurate estimates and breakdown of work needed to complete a user story

Background & Skills

 

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science . 

5 years experience with software test design and development for Variable Frequency Drives. 

5 years experience developing automated tests. 

2 years experience with Software Configuration Management Tools such as Git and Azure Devops.
