This role is hybrid and requires you to be in downtown Toronto office 3 times per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:Key Skills: Cloud architecture, Solution Design, Java, Microservices architecture, Kubernetes, OpenShift Container Platform cloud/Azure, Hadoop, Hdfs, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Spark, Tableau
Optional skills : Spring Boot, Docker, Snowflake Data lake, Jenkins/Helios Pipeline ,CI/CD
Experience in system/data integration - should be able to provide solution design and lead Integration Initiatives
1. Help designing, creating, deploying, and managing bank s data architecture, strategy, design & approach basis as-is state
2. Instrumental in data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of data warehouses and data analytics systems
3. Identify data sources, both internal and external, and work out a plan for data management that is aligned with the bank s data strategy
4. Defining and managing the flow of data and dissemination of information. Integrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security
5. Knowledge of systems development, including system development life cycle, project management approaches and requirements, design and testing techniques. Proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL development and database administration
6. Ability to implement common data management and reporting technologies, as well as the basics of columnar and NoSQL databases, data visualization, unstructured data, and predictive analytics
7. Experience data focused initiatives including entity integrations, data migration, building data strategy, approach, design
8. Ability to drive data strategy across the functional teams
