THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Senior Solution\nConsultant responsible for applying key technical & domain insights,\nmarketing perspective, & sound commercial judgement towards the development\nof Digital transformation (DT) /Smart Plant software solutions for Honeywell\nConnected Industrial’s customer base.

The DT/Smart Plant software product & solution could\ninclude APC, RTO,\nProcess Simulation, OTS, Realtime Database, MES, APM (Asset Performance\nManagement), alarm management, PID and APC performance monitoring and tuning,\nonline oil blending, various applications AI/ML based data analytics.

The successful candidate will report to China Solutions\nConsulting Manger – Honeywell Connected Industrials (HCI). She/He will have the right balance of deep technical knowledge of the entire Honeywell\nindustrial digital transformation software technologies and process\nprofitability drivers to successfully lead this role. She/He should demonstrate\na passion for winning, an ability to think big & make it happen, an\nentrepreneurial mindset, the flexibility to cope with change, creativity and\nthe drive to deliver stretched targets in a dynamic environment.

KEY\nRESPONSIBILITIES
The\nSr. Solution Consultant will have a broad set of\nresponsibilities encompassing the following:
Provide thought leadership for Digital Transformation /Smart Plant software product & solution strategy.
Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer’s needs, value drivers, technical capabilities, & assess opportunity potential.
Conduct engaging product overview and or demonstrations to explain product value proposition, & capability.
Track & analyze DT/Smart Plant opportunity pipeline to provide business insight.
Review & analyze growth opportunities through additional product development, partnership, and integration with other Honeywell’s product families.
Assess and provide feedback on product development needs
Coach sales personnel on targeted product value propositions & provide input on approach & customer engagement strategy.
Review proposal & estimation activities with a view to improving content, optimize costing, providing pricing guidance & improving overall win rate.
Develop and champion best-in-class sales training
Coordinate engineering support of pursuits
Lead proof of concept activities, establishing success criteria and the plan & execution strategy to improve outcomes.
Provide inputs for sales & marketing collateral

YOU MUST HAVE
At least 5 years in an APC&RTO engineering service role for refinery, petrochemical and chemical industries
At least 3 years in a consulting, sales support, product marketing, or strategic sales role related to industrial digital transformation/smart plant (including APC&RTO).
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering, Instrumentation, Industrial Control, Computer Science, or other technical/IT fields.
Technology/ Digital knowledge: the candidate should have significant knowledge of industrial digital transformation or Smart Plant applications available in the market with an understanding of the latest trends (e.g., operation autonomous, AI/ML).
Fluent English skill in reading, writing, and speaking.
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
WE VALUE
Demonstrated project experience implementing commercial off-the-shelf software for industrial digital transformation / Smart Plant applications from major international and local players such as Deloitte, PWC, McKinsey, AspenTech/Emerson, AVEVA/ Schneider, GE, YOKOGAWA, Supcon, PCITC etc.
Experience in deploying digital transformation or smart plant strategies in an operating company.
Candidates having experience in plant operations.
Candidates having experience in consulting firms.
Configuration experience working on control systems, DCS / PLC / Safety Systems.
Advanced post graduate degree in a technical discipline.
Problem Solver: A creative yet pragmatic problem solver. Methodical and hands-on as well as detail-oriented
Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills: A team player and builder, receptive to ideas from others. Shares information and keeps team members and partners informed.
