As a Solutions Consultant, you will be a key contributor within OpenText Cloud Solutions/Presales Business Network team supporting Account Executives. There has never been a better time to join OpenText, one of the most exciting, transformational platforms in the market today.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:
Engaging with customers and prospects to understand their current architectural landscape, current business process, environment, and ecosystem. You understand how and why application integration is critical to an organization’s future and how automation and efficiency can drive profitability.Translating this into real business insight and how the OpenText platform can help organizations be more successful.Working closely with delivery teams to develop implementation plans and estimates for proposals.Ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sale solution to post-sales implementation.Preparing and delivering presentations and demos of the company’s solutions to all levels in the prospect’s organization, mapping features/benefits of OpenText to specific business and technical needs.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
3+ years in cloud solution development or pre-sales with proven ability to understand and analyze prospect's needs and identify and develop and present appropriate OpenText solutions.Ability to master a broad range of expertise ranging from understanding the business process to collecting and analyzing business and technical requirements.Supply chain management, data and or application integration, e-business, B2B, B2A, API and EDI.Cloud services models on a global basis that includes implementation, service level agreements, data center operations, ongoing customer management & change managementExcellent customer relations, written and verbal communication skills.Experience developing and presenting clear and concise product briefings. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Business process and technical expertise to lead the technical qualification, opportunity assessment, solution design, and proposal phases. Ability to lead discovery workshop sessions to gather customer requirements and critical business and technical challenges.Become an industry SME including developing competitive knowledge that can be leveraged in competitive situations, work with marketing and sales on sales collateral.Provides product and deep technical guidance and support, leveraging product expertise and industry best practices.
