Job Description:


The Sr. Solutions & Services Specialist - IaaS will be responsible for selling a best-in-class Private Cloud consumption-based offering. You will be responsible for driving business in NA and for some global customers. This is a unique opportunity to accelerate your career and expand your skillset.

You will be expected to attain sales, revenue, and margin goals through driving new business and evangelizing Lenovo’s ever-expanding portfolio of TruScale solutions. You'll demonstrate the ability to take initiative and provide leadership in a growing business. You'll need to have a successful track record of selling and positioning Cloud as a Service solutions.  You will champion the innovative power of our TruScale suite of solutions to empower companies to grow and achieve their business outcomes.

You will need to understand Lenovo’s portfolio of award-winning solutions and develop strategies to help new and existing enterprise customers find and implement the best solutions for their unique business needs. In this role, the Sr. Solutions & Services Specialist - IaaS will be expected to drive their own sales calls, while also attending joint calls with sales team members at all levels of the customer organization.

This is a client facing sales role requiring market and industry experience, the ability to identify, cultivate, and close net new business, and expertise working large deals at the C level. We are looking for a hunter & closer with a successful and proven track record to take their career, and the territory, to the next level.



Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and close new large enterprise opportunities within the territory across multiple verticalsAchieve revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo while driving growth across the Truscale solution offeringsDevelop, implement, and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve sales goalsDevelop C level relationships and serve as a trusted consultant to customersUnderstand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developmentsLead a cross-functional team within the company to keep deals moving through the funnelEnsure that our customers receive world-class sales and customer serviceEffectively and consistently use reporting tools to track key sales metrics and consistently meet those metrics



Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent professional work experience8+ years of successful enterprise (data center) technology and services sales experienceExperience as an IT Services Solutions provider selling multi-year managed services solutionsExperience selling Cloud & Private Cloud solutionsExperience selling Infrastructure/Data Center solutions

Proven ability to develop strategies to penetrate and sell to global organizationsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive sales environmentPossess a proactive and driven approach to identify and pursue new sales opportunitiesSelf-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independentlyExceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills







The base salary range budgeted for this position in CA, CO, Jersey City - NJ, NV, Ithaca - NY, NYC, WA, is $160 - $190k.  Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
