The Senior Spatial Data Coordinator (SDC) will ensure that CAD floor plans and occupant data accurately represent the client’s portfolio in the Space Management tool, respond to client requests, and proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality and space management processes.Job Description
Principle Responsibilities:
Utilize CAD and other design/space technology software to provide support as it relates to space, occupancy and utilization data to Project Management, Occupancy Planning and Move Managers.Ensure all current drawings and systems are maintained, relevant space reports are generated on a regular basis.Serve as the central point of contact (go to person) regarding the space technology solution within a client environment.Hold a solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with construction and furniture terminology, required.Develop drawings using computer-assisted design/drafting (e.g., CAD) equipment and software Establishes and maintains an organized file system for drawings received, and evacuation maps createdConvert existing construction drawings to computer-aided design/drafting softwareInput and update of all CAD plans and occupancy dataCommunicate with Project Management, Occupancy Planning and Move Managers for CAD needsRecommend process improvements and proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality and space management processesGenerate needed reports and analysis on SpaceManage and report space allocation data, including business presence and archivingProactively monitor space allocation data and changesProvide allocation data in accordance with client Space Allocation ProcessesRequirements:
Minimum requirement of associates degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in Architectural Technology, Space Planning, Space Data Management or Data Analytics.Three – six years experience in a corporate real estate environment.Proficiency in MS Office Suite software applicationsDemonstrated experience working in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plusExperience documenting processes in support of data governanceExcellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skillsAble to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective servicesStrong oral, written and presentation communication skillsAssumes ownership of requests to ensure successful completionProcess-oriented professional with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, capable of managing multiple projects with minimal supervision)Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
