The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of both Windows and Linux system infrastructures. This role involves a blend of network management, consistent system patching, robust system hardening, and system/software deployment automation. Essential Functions: + Administer and support daily operations of Windows and Linux servers, and Cisco networking devices ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and availability. + Manage network configurations to optimize performance and ensure security compliance. + Implement regular system updates and patches, minimizing vulnerabilities and maintaining compliance with industry standards. + Harden systems by configuring and maintaining security measures to protect sensitive data and infrastructure. + Develop and maintain scripts and tools for deployment automation, striving for increased efficiency in our operational processes. + Collaborate with engineering teams to understand program requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions. + Communicate complex technical issues and strategies to management and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. + Ability to support limited offsite travel, overtime work, and have the ability to lift and move equipment (20 LBS). Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. + Six years of experience as a System/Network Administrator managing an enterprise level domain. + Current/Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain Poly Preferred Additional Skills: + Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking protocols, PowerShell, and security best practices. + Two years of experience supporting LINUX (RedHat REL 7/8, Centos, Ubuntu). + Experience with VMware or similar virtualization software. + Experience with ansible. + Experience with Commvault or similar backup system software. + Experience managing systems under the NIST Risk Management Framework. #LI-NR1 L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
