**_What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health_** Account Management is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships. **Accountabilities in this role** + Bridge relationships between the customer’s supply chain team and internal Cardinal Health teams to ensure flawless service + Accountable to Retail Chain accounts for their service levels for Rx an Consumer Health segments + Support customer expectations and requirements through proactive account reviews, and regular engagement and review of key initiatives + Resolve open order issues by reviewing open order and exception reports, analyzing trends, and partnering with customer to take alternative actions as needed + Advocate for customer and partner across Cardinal Health servicing teams to bring rapid and effective resolution to customer’s issues, requests and initiatives + Track, measure, and report key performance indicators monthly + Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with customer to support retention and growth of the account **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred + 2-4 years professional experience; direct customer facing experience preferred + Strong communication skills + Strong command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) + Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment + Highly motivated, creative, able to operate effectively within a team + **Bilingual English and Spanish (Written and Verbal) is required** + Experience in consumer health is a must **_What is expected of you and others at this level_** + Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks + Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity + Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolve + Applies judgment within defined parameters + Receives general guidance may receive more detailed instruction on new projects + Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy _Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply._ _Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
