What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Account Management is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.
Accountabilities in this role
Bridge relationships between the customer’s supply chain team and internal Cardinal Health teams to ensure flawless serviceAccountable to Retail Chain accounts for their service levels for Rx an Consumer Health segmentsSupport customer expectations and requirements through proactive account reviews, and regular engagement and review of key initiativesResolve open order issues by reviewing open order and exception reports, analyzing trends, and partnering with customer to take alternative actions as neededAdvocate for customer and partner across Cardinal Health servicing teams to bring rapid and effective resolution to customer’s issues, requests and initiativesTrack, measure, and report key performance indicators monthlyBuild and maintain long-term trusted relationships with customer to support retention and growth of the accountQualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred2-4 years professional experience; direct customer facing experience preferredStrong communication skillsStrong command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentHighly motivated, creative, able to operate effectively within a teamBilingual English and Spanish (Written and Verbal) is requiredExperience in consumer health is a mustWhat is expected of you and others at this level
