The Senior Specialist for Physical Security and OSH plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the organization’s physical assets, employees, and visitors. This position is responsible for developing and managing robust security and safety programs, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinating emergency readiness initiatives. With a strong emphasis on aligning security measures with business objectives, this role also focuses on optimizing operational costs and enhancing the overall safety and security posture of the organization. 


Key Responsibilities:


Physical Security Programs:

○ Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive physical security programs, policies, and procedures. 

○ Ensure the protection of company assets, employees, clients and visitors. 


Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

○ Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities. 

○ Recommend and implement appropriate security measures based on identified risks.


Security Systems Management:

○ Oversee the installation, maintenance, and management of security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems. 

○ Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.


Incident Management and Investigation:

○ Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, breaches, and violations. 

○ Prepare and submit incident reports within 4 hours and investigation reports within 48 hours. 

○ Develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.


Emergency Response Planning:

○Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and security vendors to create and maintain effective emergency response plans. 

○Train employees on emergency response procedures.


Compliance and Standards:

○ Ensure adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements, including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, Fire Code, and DOLE standards. 

○ Stay updated on trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to physical security and OSH. 


Collaboration and Training:

○ Partner with cross-functional teams to align security measures with business goals. 

○ Provide training to employees on security best practices, system usage, and safety protocols. 


Documentation and Reporting:

○ Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security procedures, incident reports, and system configurations. 

○ Analyze security data to identify trends and recommend improvements.


What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role you must…


● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

● Minimum of 5 years of experience in physical security management, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting. 

● Proficiency in physical security concepts and technologies, including access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and security protocols. 

● Knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001. 

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. 

● Experience in risk assessments, security audits, and incident investigations. 

● Familiarity with emergency response procedures and incident management. 

● Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Security Professional (CSP), Certified Protection Officer (CPO), Physical Security Professional (PSP)) are preferred. 

● Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly. 

● Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 

● Quick adjustment to new tools, regulations, and client requirements in the fast-paced BPO environment. 

● Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team.
