JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Sr. Specialist, Resort Marketing – West Visitation to support the West Visitation Resort Marketing Team for the following resorts: Whistler Blackcomb, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood and Stevens Pass
The Resort Marketing Team is responsible for visitation business ownership, brand building, and differentiating the guest experience. Split into two teams (Experience & Visitation), the Visitation Team drives visitation and revenue growth, maintains strong resort brand awareness, and leads effective go-to-market planning and execution for our portfolio of Destination Resorts. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to support business and brand initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Sr. Manager Resort Marketing – West Visitation, you will be responsible for:
Visitation & Revenue Growth Leverage business analytics and guest insights to support visitation reporting and draw clear narratives on business performance Support in the development and assessment of data-driven strategies for brand distinctiveness, positioning and business growth by identifying key drivers and recommendations Support the broader West Resort Marketing Team to drive results while gaining exposure to the full business Resort Brand Awareness Act as a steward for the West Resort brands, upholding brand guidelines across all guest touchpoints in Paid & Owned Media Channels Support on projects to maintain a compelling brand and portfolio vision that ladders to enterprise portfolio strategy and business objectives Study the competitive landscape and market trends, identifying and reporting on insights to influence decision-making Go-To-Market Execution Collaborate with internal marketing teams to support the creation of robust go-to-market plans Partner with creative agencies and internal marketing teams to lead creative development through to execution
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Four-year college degree required. Emphasis in marketing, business management or related field preferred. 2+ years of marketing or brand management experience. Go-to-market and data storytelling experience preferred. High degree of organization, attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills necessary Able to support multiple projects simultaneously and manage multiple cross-functional partners Demonstrated learning agility with ability to adopt new skills and responsibilities A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment No outdoor or ski experience necessary
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $56,485 - $76,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
