The Position

Being part of the GBS Center organization and working closely with the GBS Global Sourcing department, the Supplier Enablement Specialist will work tightly with the SAP-Ariba Buying deployment team and contribute to the adoption activities by ensuring the correct supplier enablement process and data accuracy in order to enable document transmission via Ariba Network.

Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for coordinating supplier enablement and supplier change management work stream, including local sourcing organizations and external resources (inc. SAP Ariba).Help to Manage supplier adherence and escalation process for non-compliance.Support analysis made by S2P Buying Channel Expert and indicate potential suppliers for integration, full enablement and light enablement.Execute designed change management plan, adapted to supplier enablement strategy.Coordinate work of deployment/project team for on-going enablement & account administration tasks and ongoing Supplier Enablement Activities.The role requires participation in Supplier Summits, trainings and dedicated supplier`s events and collecting supplier data.The role will require applying project management, organization and change management skills and techniques.Provide strong technical understanding of SAP Business Network (Ariba Network) with the ability to support discussion on how it may be configured to meet Boehringer Ingelheim’s needs.Provide analytical guidance to deployment/project team.Revise and propose improvements for existing transacting suppliers on AN.Support analysis for supplier’s segmentation and coordinate work to execute tasks against Flight Plan deliverables.Handle supplier escalations, run regular calls with local sourcing representatives and Ariba Supplier Enablement team.Review and confirm test and enablement plan, assist in troubleshooting the Ariba errors or document transmissionSupport supplier integration, when needed.Attend Suppliers’ Summits and support coordination of shared information and summit content among involved partiesExecute and monitor supplier enablement plan, including reaching out to suppliers and setting them up on AN.About our Future Employee:Degree level educated or proven track-record of experience in deliveryLanguage: English, German (preferred)3+ years’ experience working in a procure-to-pay environmentProject management skills, including solid problem solving and time management skillsGood communication skills and ability to work effectively between different cultures.Experience or knowledge of Ariba downstream system and Ariba Business NetworkAnalytical skills (good command of MS Excel)Source-to-contract related experienceExperience in Supplier Enablement Activities
