L3Harris is seeking to hire a Software Engineer with a desire to develop software applications and participate in the entire software development life cycle.

Essential Functions:

Lead/participate in the entire software development life cycle including software design, implementation, code reviews, integration and debugging for new products and existing ones.Drive/Support continuous iterative agile software development in C/C++ and PythonCollaborate with Systems and Integration and test engineers to ensure design and implementation meet customer requirements.Analyze results from simulation or real data to identify root causes and trendsDevelop unit tests and support software integration efforts

Qualifications:

Bachelors and 6-9 years of experience or Master’s degree 4 - 7 years of expeince in Computer Science or other related technical discipline.  In lieu of degree, 8-11 years of software experience.6 to 8 years of professional C/C++ software development experience required.Education and/or background in satellite communicationsGood understanding of inter process communication and multi-threaded programmingExperience with Linux systems and network programmingExpert knowledge of MySQL database.C++ Unit test experience.Experience with DevOps or DevSecOpsStrong problem solving and software debugging skills Ability to multitask across multiple projects/initiativesFamiliarity with configuration management processes and toolsActive Secret Level Security Clearance

In compliance with the equal pay act, the salary range for this role in $129,500.00 - $240,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
