What You Can Expect

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) software solutions for our products. This role involves close collaboration with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain firmware and features in OpenBMC solutions.

Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality and reliable OpenBMC-based software.

2. Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and release notes.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.

What We're Looking For

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

•5+ years of experience in C++ coding in Linux applications.

•Strong understanding of Yocto and OpenBMC.

•Proficiency in low-level protocols, including I2C, PMBUS, SPI, UART, JTAG, and GPIO.

•Experience with PMCI protocol stack, including MCTP, PLDM, SPDM, etc.

•Experience with MCTP binding interfaces, including UART, I2C/SMBUS, I3C, PCIe VDM, and USB.

•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

•Experience in porting OpenBMC to multiple hardware platforms.

•Hardware debugging skills.
