Role Summary This role will be responsible for developing system requirements for core MDM system improvements - PLM, ERP & any interfaces into MES for all Bill of material & change contexts. Additionally they will be responsible for rolling their sleeves up and implementing improvements with the working level analysts - the role is to be measured and accountable for the outcomes and the business result vs the solution itself. Responsibilities Interface with leading representatives within Engineering, Purchasing & IT to establish and implement corporate aligned toolsets. Lead improvement initiatives across master data tools driving continuous improvement into the PLM and ERP toolsets within Rivian Lead Process improvement workstreams ensuring that the right teams are doing the right activities with quality at the right points in time. Root cause analysis of a wide range of common issues surrounding BoM, Demand Planning, Order Sequencing etc. - providing clear guidance on solutions, as well as being part of the solution. Lead Senior Director and VP level initiative reporting, ensuring all relevant leaders understand key workstreams and timing associated. Manage tight deadlines surrounding improvement initiatives, ensuring efficient IT developments, user acceptance testing, training and deployment Plug any gaps in a highly dynamic environment with knowhow, skills and data expertise Accountable for driving quality into attribution, systematic data alignment Champion training for seamless user experience Be a force for change in the organization and drive adoption of leading business practices & solutions Ultimately and most importantly – really understand in detail the end-to-end Master Data environment, from Design to line & become the subject matter expert in Rivian systems and tools Qualifications 5+ years experience in product development systems and data 1+ year in product development management Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Discipline, Computer Science, or equivalent STEM Subject Hands on experience in deploying systems, tools and processes within Automotive departments Understanding of Product Data Management & Product Lifecycle Management tools and processes (Namely 3D Experience) Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning Toolsets and processes (namely SAP S4Hana) Strong resilience and work ethic Hands on, open minded attitude Pay Disclosure Salary Range Irvine-Based Applicants:$196,000-$245,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, and other factors permitted by law).
