Role Summary The Senior Staff Product Manager for Vehicle Applications Software will be a key leader within the Vehicle Software team. You will play a pivotal role in identifying, evangelizing and advocating for great customer features and experiences within the Rivian suite of Vehicle Applications. You will lead a team of cross-functional subject matter experts to deliver innovative solutions that touch every aspect of the Rivian eco-system. To excel in this role, you need to lead with empathy and have exceptional communication skills to influence and rally teams across the length and breadth of the organization - from engineering teams to senior leadership, from business strategy to marketing communications. Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Develop and communicate clear product vision and execute on the strategy that align with business goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, strategy, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure product success. Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research, benchmarking and triangulate with Rivian telemetry data to discern customer needs and market trends that inform product strategy. Idea Management: Be the conduit and champion for idea generation from diDerent stakeholders in the business and bring first principles thinking to ideation and problem solving. E2E Full stack Product Development: Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, connecting the dots across the entire technology stack and ensuring timely delivery and quality. Stakeholder Management: Engage with engineering, business and brand design stakeholders, to define and prioritize product features, functions and requirements. Performance Metrics: Design, build, monitor and analyze product performance against success metrics, using data to drive improvements. Mentorship : Guide and develop junior product managers within the organization. Qualifications Education: Typically requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business. Experience: 7+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successful product launches. Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in product management tools and agile methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Education: MBA or equivalent experience. Industry Experience: Experience in automotive industry and connected vehicle telemetry. Technical Background: Hands-on software development, architecture, or business analysis experience.
