**About the Role**
The Sr. Strategy & Planning Associate will own business planning, contribute to US&C strategy, uplevel business insights & analytics, and assist in building (+occasionally executing) overarching strategic priorities for the US&C Delivery business in partnership with the Head of US&C S&P, Delivery LT, and the broader Uber Delivery organization. This role requires equal parts business insight, analytical skills, the ability to set vision (both to seek consensus and set direction for others), plus the humility to lead initiatives across teams.
**What You'll Do**
- Setting strategy: Work in partnership with the Delivery leadership to set the vision, strategy, and goals for the US&C business, and define strategic priorities. You will work closely with and advise business leaders across the organization on topics ranging from specific analyses to annual strategic planning to multi-year visions.
- Fact finding: The team uses Uber's rich dataset and external data sources to improve our understanding of our customers and markets to find opportunities and risks that may have a significant impact on the business; be proactive about surfacing robust insights from this data, plus Support and Brand data, with clear recommendations for the team.
- Maintaining accountability: Develop and coordinate the governance and accountability models for the team to ensure that we are on track to achieve our goals; own and maintain metrics dashboards and reporting cadences, ensuring key leaders always have the right information in front of them to foster data-driven decisions; Prepare content for regular business reviews
- Leading projects: Be the glue that brings teams together to ensure critical initiatives reach our customers and team stakeholders. Be a hustling multi-tasker, driving cross-functional groups to decisions on strategically significant questions.
- Building Relationships: Interface beyond the core US&C team with other teams and functional areas (Strategic Operations, Product/Eng, Marketing \[Brand, CRM, Performance\], Business Development, People Operations, Legal, etc.) to leverage learnings and ensure cohesive business strategy
**Basic Qualifcations**
- 4+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, analytics, tech, finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance or related fields

- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced stakeholder management skills - Experience influencing across functions in a matrix organization
- Ability to work with ambiguity
- Effective team player
- Strong communications skills

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,500 per year.
