Summary: Hiring a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer with expertise in dynamics and structural analysis for aerospace product design, development, and testing.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited college/university
Professional experience, preferably working specifically in a Mechanical Engineering role focused on Dynamics and Structural analysis
Proficiency with FEM solvers, MSC/NX Nastran, ANSA, FEMAP, Siemens NX, or other comparable FEM pre/postprocessors including advanced non-linear statics analysis
Familiarity with Airframe loads and structures
Preferred Skills:
Professional experience providing dynamics analysis support for product design
Working knowledge in Modal analysis/correlation, shock analysis, vibration analysis/correlation
Ability to work independently and develop advanced technical principles, techniques and concepts
Experience in hardware design and development
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities:
Analyze, research and develop structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design or operation of aerospace products including structural analysis and dynamic analyses
Analyze damage tolerance, durability, design allowable and structural modeling
Use tools such as ANSA, ABAQUS & NASTRAN (finite element analysis pre/post processors), CREO & CATIA (design tools)
Report to the program mechanical analysis lead
Provide stress & dynamics support to the development team
Create & correlate analytical models
Evaluate multiple competing concepts quickly
Participate actively in technical interchange meetings
Document work concisely.
