Sr. Supervisor, Production
Under the general direction of a manager, the Sr. Production Supervisor is responsible for directly overseeing the work of associates in an assigned production department within a warehouse facility and ensuring the team adheres to all Company policies, SOPs, and customer KPIs/contractual commitments.

The Sr. Production Supervisor is responsible for all personnel functions pertaining to their direct reports. They spend nearly all of their time in the warehouse production areas. Additionally, the Sr. Production Supervisor may be required to perform manual tasks such as operating warehouse equipment or handling Hazardous Waste materials.

Primary Accountabilities:(70%) OperationalSupervise associates in a production department of the facilityApprove all associate time worked and performance reviewsShift priorities to adjust to changing business demandsProject staffing needs and participate in the interview and selection processFollow and enforce all Company policies and procedures in the facilityEnsure facility compliance to Federal and State regulationsMonitor, report, and work to prevent losses in the facilityProvide daily, weekly, and monthly statistics and operations updatesMaintain a thorough knowledge of all SOP’s pertaining to facility and operationsOversee incoming and outgoing shipping/processing activities to ensure order accuracy,completeness, and condition of shipmentsAble to adequately perform and document periodic regulatory inspectionsof the facility, including but not limited to, sanitation inspections and hazardous waste storage areainspectionsAbility to meet set production and quality goals and follow standard operating and safetyproceduresPromote constant and measurable improvement; teach and enforce quality proceduresMaintain a clean, professional, secure and safe working environmentIdentify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; possess solid judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsProvide superior customer service and maintain professional and courteous relations withstrategic partnersProvide superior service by exceeding customer expectations for quality product and processingturnaround; ensure exceptional customer service key performance indicators (quality controls, unannouncedinspections, inventory accuracy and security, etc.)Identify and ensure associate and customer concerns are resolved, using own judgment orconsulting others when neededCommunicate in a professional manner with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers,vendors, associates)(30%) LeadershipConduct regular scheduled staff meetings with associates·Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates·Contribute to employee development by providing training, coaching, and promotional opportunitiesAdminister corrective action to employees in conjunction with Manager and GT! Department opportunitiesAdditional Responsibilities:Performs other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsRequired Qualifications:Associates in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance or related field required4-6 years of experience in a lead or supervisor role preferably in a fulfillment, distribution, or manufacturing environment; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position requiredBilingual English/Spanish communication skills are advantageous in the roleWorking knowledge of computers and programs specific to operations and operations reporting including MS Office (Excel, MS Word)Knowledge of warehouse safety and security practicesPhysically able to work in a non-climate-controlled environmentAbility to operate and troubleshoot department equipment, i.e. material handling equipment; such as the forklift and pallet jackAbility to package, label, load/unload Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste, signHazardous Waste manifests, and serve the facility as an Emergency CoordinatorAbility to perform the functions of a hazardous waste generator, including but not limited to, identification, sorting, packaging, segregating, labeling hazardous waste generated from daily operational activitiesPhysical Demands
