Your Role:
The Senior Supply Chain Associate will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and supplies while ensuring optimal inventory levels and efficient planning processes. This role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet production schedule needs.Track and analyze supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.Collaborate with global procurement to negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality.Monitor inventory levels and manage reorder points to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues related to quality or delivery.Prepare reports on purchasing activities and inventory status for senior management.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or other Supply Chain discipline. 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain planning.Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.Experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment.Experience with SAP.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.Planning experience.
