Grundfos is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Improvement Specialist. The Supply Chain Improvement Specialist will apply broad subject matter expert knowledge and capabilities to drive and support improvements within the continuous development and operational support of Grundfos' supply chain, through process improvements or advanced analytics. This position reports directly to the Regional Operations Director and will operate daily out of the Brookshire, Texas facility.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support. **Your main responsibilities:**
+ Implement and deploy best practices through continuous improvements and projects throughout Grundfos’ supply chain with a special focus on bigger scale tasks, likely with tactical/strategical focus.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to procurement, logistics, category management, HR, finance and operations and maintenance to gather insights and feedback for process enhancement
+ Develop and implement innovative solutions to streamline and enhance efficiency across the entire supply chain lifecycle.
+ Utilize data-driven approaches to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish benchmarks for evaluating the effectiveness of supply chain processes.
+ Provide mentorship and guidance to SCM process improvement specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
+ Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives, leveraging best practices and industry standards to drive operational excellence within the end-to-end supply chain function.
+ Oversee the execution of large-scale projects, ensuring successful implementation and achieving measurable outcomes (through communication & change management (i.e. training, documentation, publishing, etc.),
+ Conduct thorough post-implementation evaluations, collecting feedback and adjusting strategies to maximize the impact of process improvements.
+ Drive the adoption of best practices, industry standards, and emerging trends to position the organization at the forefront of supply chain excellence.
+ Provide training and support to supply chain teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
+ Drive digitalization and automation efforts within SCM together with ensuring and enabling integration with other processes.
+ Contribute to GPS Supply Chain element: contribute to the assessment model, metrics, support plants’ action plans, etc.
+ Participate in and drive strategic and operational supply chain projects as well as audits/assessments and task force assignments.
**Your background:**
**We imagine that you have:**
+ A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
+ A minimum of 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management in the manufacturing setting desired.
+ Lean six sigma green belt preferred
+ APICs certified preferred
+ SAP implementation experience highly desired
+ Knowledge of closed loop manufacturing principles and MRP theory.
+ Analytical aptitude: ability to mathematically and statistically analyze and interpret data.
+ High knowledge of SAP, MS Excel, Power PI, and Power Apps
+ Possess industry experience working in a manufacturing environment with in-depth knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes (planning, purchasing, warehouse, logistics, etc.)
+ Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering results within established timelines
