The Senior Manager of Supply Chain is responsible for aligning customer demand with production schedules across multiple manufacturing locations, including plants and contract manufacturers. Collaborating with Commercial and Supply Chain Operations teams, this role drives service level, inventory, and cost optimization, specifically regarding material flow and premium freight. Additionally, the position integrates innovative ideas from R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain into plant operations. Reporting to the Head of Supply Network, the Senior Manager oversees material management, production scheduling, inventory control, and operational execution.
**What you´ll do:**
**Supply Chain Management: Production & Raw Material Planning**
+ Analyze enterprise planning data and prepare consolidated reports to facilitate decisions for optimal supply chain execution.
+ Collaborate with departments to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy.
+ Lead the production planning and raw material teams to develop finite production schedules, define material flows, and achieve key supply chain KPIs.
+ Oversee the use of planning parameters and ensure transaction discipline in order execution systems (e.g., SAP MM/PP).
+ Manage daily inventory and delivery needs for internal and external customers.
+ Direct plant-level S&OP processes, including capacity planning and integrating corporate-level changes.
+ Oversee material planning, inventory management, and scheduling for manufacturing operations and product trials.
**Innovation Integration**
+ Coordinate with corporate sourcing to introduce new or revised products into production.
+ Partner with R&D, sales, and project management teams to facilitate smooth transitions for product launches, discontinuations, and changes.
**Inventory Control**
+ Support inventory targets by managing production to meet cost and unit-level goals.
+ Ensure physical inventory accuracy to fulfill customer orders while maintaining optimal stock levels.
+ Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
+ Drive performance metrics for days on hand, gross inventory, on-time delivery, and master schedule adherence.
+ Oversee procurement, scheduling, and material management processes to achieve on-time delivery and inventory goals.
**Leadership & Continuous Improvement**
+ Foster a culture of inclusion and belonging that empowers teams while maintaining a strong focus on achieving results
+ Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to meet established service levels.
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling, material management, and operational efficiency.
+ Evaluate team performance and manage personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and commendations.
+ Develop and enhance departmental procedures and ensure staff training aligns with best practices.
+ Champion cross-functional improvement projects and implement site-specific best practices.
**What makes you a good fit**
+ B.S degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management or equal work experience.
+ 5-10 years of work-related experience, preferably in plant environment (Operations, Master Scheduling or Material Planning)
+ Proven expertise in supply chain management, production planning, and inventory control.
+ Strong leadership skills with experience managing and working in cross-functional teams.
+ Proficiency in SAP MM/PP or similar ERP systems.
+ Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and implement operational efficiencies.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple departments.
+ CPIM, CSCP or other APICS or Six Sigma certification or commensurate certification of processes and best practice methods preferred.
+ Travel Obligations: 3-5%

The salary for this role is $112,000.00 - $145,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
