In this role you'll provide the leadership and direction required to ensure an uninterrupted flow of materials and services in a timely, quality conscious and cost-effective manner.

Adheres to GB Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements.Achieves the Board approved yearly operating plan.Develops, manages, and motivates a strong procurement team to ensure an uninterrupted flow to customers and to establish strong supplier relationships to support the customer service focus.Develops and implements a forecasting methodology by Item Number for all GB locations that correlate with Actual Revenue and Budget.Establishes Inventory Turns goals based on safety stock and customer contract requirements; Monitors Inventory levels to understand and reduce E&O through corporation.Implements I-Supply as the material replenishment tool for MRP and Kanban environments throughout GB facilities.Supports new product introduction/consolidations and schedules to ensure customer and GB’s expectations are met.Develops and maintains a well-established business information system throughout the supply chain. Identifies, recommends and drives improvements to current processes and systems to provide timely information to management. Works in conjunction with IT to achieve desired results.Promotes an atmosphere that facilitates open and effective communication.Manages inventory levels through organization to ensure liabilities are minimized while continuity of supply is not interrupted. Focuses in excess and obsolete negotiations with supplier and/or customers.Performs other functions as required

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management or Business. MBA preferred.Minimum Experience: 12-15 years in a production environment, 5 of which are in a managerial role OR 12-15 years in a production environment, 5 of which include supply chain experience with 2 years in a managerial role.Specialized Knowledge: APICS Certification, MS Excel proficient (Visual B., Macros).Special Skills: Excellent communication and negotiations skills required.
