Our Global Supply Chain team plays a central part in ensuring our products are delivered to patients with cardiovascular disease and critical care needs. You’ll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world.
The main function of a Sr. Supply Chain, Planner is to production plan and ensure continued supply within a highly dynamic NPD environment. Assess needs and perform actions required to manage product flow across the supply chain continuum.
You will make an impact by:
• Production plan for projects within Irvine Pilot NPD project portfolio
• Actively participate and contribute execution of complex supply chain related projects (e.g, NPD, NPI)
• Execute processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions) and may provide recommendations for updates for applicable Supply Chain functions
• Collaborate with departments (such as, clinical, sales, marketing, legal, etc.) within Edwards in order to assess needs and perform actions required, across the entire supply chain continuum (e.g, plan, source, make and deliver) seeking to manage product flow including issues with some complexity
• Identify and resolve supply chain issues
• Perform routine and detailed analysis
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain operations
• Maintain processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions) for applicable Supply Chain functions
• Provide training to other Supply Chain team members
• Other duties assigned by Leadership; Continuous training on related job functions
What you’ll need (Required):
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field and 5 years of related experience OR
• Master’s Degree in Business or related field and 3 years of related experience
What else we look for (Preferred):
• Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g., SQMS, JDE, JDA) required
• Good project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Full knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations applicable to medical device industry
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Leadership, talent development and communication skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects, and vendors/suppliers
• Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry preferred
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $78,000 to $110,000 (highly experienced).
