Sr. Systems Design Specialist II

The role of the Sr. Systems Design Specialist II position requires strong technical capabilities, strategic leadership, deep product knowledge, and the ability to deliver impactful solutions to support our EPM product suite. This role will support the delivery of technical solutions by providing hands-on support, partnering with product and business stakeholders, recommending system improvements, and ensuring timely execution of key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

System Support & Maintenance:

Monitor EPM system performance and ensure uptime. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (e.g., data load failures). Coordinate end-user testing, ensuring proper documentation and sign-off are obtained after patching has been applied. Provide level 2/3 support to users and administrators. Document processes and provide training to end-users and internal teams.

Implementation & Configuration:

Develop and deploy calculation scripts, business rules, and automation routines within EPM systems. Collaborate with functional leads to gather requirements and configure system workflows accordingly.

Data Management:

Manage data integrations from ERP, MDM, and other systems. Build and maintain ETL processes. Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation across source systems and EPM.

Automation & Scripting:

Create automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, etc. Schedule and maintain jobs for data loads, calculations, and report generation.

Compliance:

Ensure system controls align with SOX and IT audit standards. Maintain proper documentation for change management and system configuration.

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  At least 5+ years of experience in Oracle EPM, OneStream, or similar software. Proven track record in managing complex projects and delivering successful products. Familiarity with ERP systems. Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica). Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus and efficiency. Proficiency in Python, Jython, C#, etc. Knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, and automation tools. Preferred Qualifications:

A master’s degree is preferred.

Salary Range: $118,600 - $139,400 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
