About our Team
 

This team develops software to collect product-use, customer user, and customer account data, and to convert/store that data in the IADP department forensics repository. It also involves the development of applications to assist internal teams in their investigation of potentially improper use of LexisNexis Group products, and to audit the same for compliance with company policy and government regulations. The development of automated fraud detection applications are also included in this role.
 

About the Role
 

In this role, you will develop applications in a Linux environment to ensure product-use compliance for internal and external users, with a focus on investigations, audits, and fraud detection.
 

Responsibilities

Developing software in a Linux environment to collect product-use, customer user, and customer account dataConverting/storing data in the IADP department forensics repositoryDeveloping applications to assist internal teams in investigating potential improper use of productsAuditing product use for compliance with company policy and government regulationsDeveloping automated fraud detection applicationsCollaborating with internal teams and functioning as a sole contributor when necessaryParticipating in agile development processesContributing to the development of applications for investigations, audits, and fraud detection


Requirements

Have proven software development experience with an education background in Engineering/Computer ScienceBe proficient in Python programming and development in a Linux environmentBe capable of using MySQL or PostgreSQL databases via PythonPerl language experience is preferredDemonstrate proficiency in using GitHub, including Actions/WorkflowsHave basic knowledge of SDLC and experience with test-driven developmentBe familiar with big-data applicationsPrefer to have development experience with DevSecOps/agile, Node.js/React, Apache CGI, Python framework (Django or Flask), Docker, Kubernetes, Micoservice, Cloud application (Azure), Nginx
