The Building People are seeking a qualified Senior Systems Engineer to: Provide technical support in the system architecture, system design, system integration, and technical management. Provide technical input to the systems engineering process. Lead the process of designing, building, and rolling out applications. Write high-quality code and lead code reviews. Plan and document technical specifications for future application features or infrastructural systems. Direct the development team through the design, development, testing, and debugging processes. Work closely with management and other stakeholders to document and shape business requirements and translate those into technical requirements the development team can act on. Provide configuration and custom development support. Lead projects in the software development lifecycle, including performance analysis, design, development, and testing. Share best practices within and across development team members. Engage in and lead in application performance tuning. Engage in application architecture and design decisions. Discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level clients.
