What you’ll do:

As a Sr. Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role contributing to and performing tasks within assigned ITS departmental areas in support of Lifepoint’s Operating Systems, Infrastructure, and middleware, and which meet ITS/ Business expectations, and Customer Service Level Agreements.

Responsibilities:

Participates and manages departmental projects, ensuring that projects are clearly defined, systematically executed, fully documented, and business results oriented. Adherence to Project Management processes and standards within Lifepoint are required.Executes defined migration strategies to move from the current technical platforms to the future technical architecture.Participates in the testing of the design or selection of new systems and technical infrastructure projects.Supports/contributes/performs operational procedures and standards within assigned department with business objectives in mind, according to vendor best practices.Certifies, installs, configures, and/or maintains Lifepoint Windows server operating systems, infrastructure, and middleware.Provides 24/7 on call support and basic triage for the assigned department areas.Defines configuration specifications for new systems given application, business, and technical requirements.Utilizes problem management techniques to perform root cause analysis of system failures and implement corrective actions.Measures application, OS, and hardware performance, and makes recommendations on correcting bottlenecks in systems performance.

What you’ll need:

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems.

Experience: 5+ years of experience systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or related roles with proven knowledge of the following within SCCM:

OSD Creation and delivery via SCCMTask sequencing building and troubleshootingHW Driver import and troubleshootingWindows 11 deployment Create\import applications and packages within SCCMCreate application task sequencesTroubleshoot application delivery issuesApplication delivery planning\implementationSecurity Patch management with SCCMWindows Updates

Certifications/Licensure: MCSA or MCSE – preferred.
