Key job responsibilities
· Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR plans and solutions to achieve business objectives and deliver results for our customers
· Lead organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and job role initiatives
· Review and analyze data for trends, dig into the numbers and partner with the business to derive action plans around performance, retention, and employee engagement
· Coach leaders through employee, leadership, management, and other situations
· Partner with the global HR community to support global workforce
·Help our business simplify to scale and move faster
·Take different perspectives and business needs, develop a solution that works, and move the ball forward. Support your opinions with sound reasoning grounded in the business and data.
·Build relationships with business, peers, and HR teams across the organization
· Drive HR events such as annual review, compensation, and policy related implementations
· Lead high impact projects with on-time delivery, measurable outcomes and impact, and robust communication/change management
· Ability to communicate ideas, data, and thoughts well both verbally and written. Be comfortable challenging ideas and holding space for other perspectives to be heard.
A day in the life
The Sr. Talent Management Partner serves as a liaison between central HR teams, HR leadership, and the business line to assess organizational needs across talent management, performance management, compensation, career development, and manager capability. The successful HR leader will dig deep to understand the business, earn trust across key stakeholders and partners, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and drive people mechanisms with both accuracy and efficiency. This individual will need to demonstrate flexible and effective communication skills, both high-level strategic thinking and operational planning ability, empathy, and inclusion.
Basic Qualifications
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Graduated in the last 24 months or currently enrolled in MBA program at the time of application with anticipated graduation dates between December 1, 2024 and September 30, 2025
• Minimum of 3+ years of full-time industry work experience, which occurred between graduation from your undergraduate program and prior to starting your MBA program, OR 3+ years of military work experience prior to starting your MBA program.

• Experience working on internationally distributed team
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology organization where ambiguity, agility, and flexibility are valued daily
• Experience working with high growth technology teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
