Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Tax Accountant in Hollywood, Florida, 33019, United States. The primary function of this role is to execute both personal and business tax returns using CCH ProSystems Fx within a local CPA firm setting. Responsibilities: • Execute both personal and business tax returns utilizing CCH ProSystems Fx • Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions and Auditing • Maintain compliance with all relevant IRS regulations • Utilize Bloomberg Terminal and other Financial software as necessary • Execute Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes • Manage and maintain accurate business systems • Act as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for the firm • Serve as an IRS Enrolled Agent when required. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of tax accounting. • Proficient in using Bloomberg Terminal for tracking and analyzing financial data. • Familiarity with business systems and their implementation in taxation processes. • Expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for streamlining tax accounting operations. • Proficiency in using financial software to automate and enhance tax accounting functions. • Thorough understanding of various accounting functions, including but not limited to, financial reporting, ledger maintenance, and tax calculations. • Experience in conducting auditing processes to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. • Strong comprehension of compliance regulations to ensure the company's tax accounting practices adhere to legal standards. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or IRS Enrolled Agent qualifications are mandatory. • Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem Fx software for tax preparation and compliance.
