UKG is seeking a customer focused and highly energetic individual to join our Payment Services (PS) System Support Team. PS System Support strives to deliver exceptional quality service while providing accurate and timely tax payments and filing. As part of the PS System Support Team, the Sr. Tax Filing Analyst works within a team of professionals to ensure corporate payroll tax payments and filings are completed accurately and according to required deadlines. The Sr. Tax Filing Analyst will assist with case management, responding promptly to client and partner inquires and concerns, and driving effective resolution and client satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Complete daily balancing and reconciliation of tax liabilities between payroll and tax systems and following up with internal business partners as necessary
• Generate daily payments for tax liabilities managed in MasterTax, ensuring timely submission to the bank and agencies
• Conduct quarterly/annual balancing and reconciliation of tax liabilities to MasterTax liabilities and payments, including being able to research complex issues and provide status updates through the filing periods
• File assigned quarterly and annual tax returns and electronic media in accordance with agency specific guidelines
• Prepare and communicate quarterly tax variance and refund information to corporate partners and resolve any necessary variances identified
• Prepare and file appropriate client tax agency EFT registrations, Federal E-file registrations and reporting agent authorizations and work with the internal business partners to ensure that new registrations are handled timely
• Research tax notices submitted by corporate payroll for applicable agencies and communicate effectively to resolve
• Prepare and file appropriate tax amendments requests submitted by corporate payroll for applicable agencies
• Work with internal filing teams to stay up to speed on filing requirements and compliance issues that may need additional interventions
• Support Tax Compliance team with testing of new system releases and client communications
• Establishing and maintaining proper SAS70 procedures as required through internal auditor

The pay range for this position is $70,100 to $85,450, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
