What you’ll be doing

You’ll be joining the Mobile Advice department as Manager Mortgage Advisor Assistant Program. You will act as the Central Manager for the MA Assistant program and will be accountable for all HR administration including on-boarding, payroll activities and other people management activities. You will partner with Mortgage Advisors and will be responsible for providing coaching and managing performance, including any disciplinary steps or employment termination.

How you’ll succeed

Administration - You are accountable for overseeing the administration and support for the MA Assistant in conjunction with the MAs in the program. Be a single point of contact for all MA Assistants and MAs in the program.Onboarding - Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding of new hires for the MA Assistant program. Manage performance by providing fair and accurate formal and informal feedback, identifying and removing obstacles to performance and by explaining how performance expectations align with business priorities.Coaching - Provide regular coaching sessions for the assistant and include the MA, at minimum, annually. Obtain regular feedback from the MA to enrich the regular coaching sessions. Provide bi-weekly management of the assistant’s time sheet.Compliance - Ensure compliance with policies, standards, guidelines and controls by applying the policies and controls fairly and consistently so employees understand what to expect. Manage the hiring process to ensure the right people are in the right jobs to align individual capabilities with job requirements and business unit goals.

You can demonstrate experience in Excel, Word, Outlook and mortgage administration, CIBC financial accounting, human resource systems, administrative systems and processes and LAN.
