Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Sr. Technical Manager to join our team based in Tampa, FL. The Sr. Technical Manager is responsible for overall contract performance for global IT and communications support.

 

Essential duties and reponsibilities:

Design, implementation, and execution of large-scale terrestrial networking initiatives for bringing internet services to military installations globally.Managing and overseeing all aspects of compliant delivery across the program portfolio of communications products, integrated solutions, and services.Serving as the primary interface with customers, corporate resources, and vendors on contractual and technical matters.Successfully executing program Task Orders in a manner that meets or exceeds specified performance objectives within program schedule and cost constraints.Identify, integrate and deliver technical solutions and resolve technical problems that arise in the course of task order execution.Maintaining oversight of program logistics inclusive of CONUS and OCONUS-based service provision, international shipping and customs clearance, and OCONUS personnel deployment and sustainment.Ensuring and maintaining high-quality of fully-compliant program deliverables. Gauging customer satisfaction with deliverables and tailoring them, where warranted, to address customer needs or concerns.Working closely with customers in defining scope of, and technical solutions for, upcoming task orders in support of providing best service delivery value. Providing regular program status reporting, and proactively managing customer expectations, particularly in the face of program exceptions or issues.Performing detailed deployment planning, developing/executing surge and contingency plans, and developing/executing risk mitigation strategies in complex equipment and service delivery environments where deployment conditions are dynamic and beyond contractor control.Effectively delegating to subordinate staff and vendors while maintaining cognizance of, and ultimate responsibility for, delegated actions.  Assuming responsibility for maintaining profitability across concurrently-running task orders and identifying means of revenue and profitability growth.Directing and managing program sub-projects, tasks, program personnel, and subcontractors while being the primary liaison among customers, employees, and corporate leadership regarding status, deliverables, performance/quality, issues, and personnel.Working closely with, and in support of other internal organizations, including finance, contracts/subcontracts, business development, purchasing, and recruiting.Ensuring adherence to government regulatory guidance and corporate procedures in executing the program.Prepare cabling and installation of network devices IAW established standards and Government-articulated design, fabrication and installation specifications.Support the execution and evaluation of equipment and technologies during its use in operational theaters.Proficient with Microsoft suite applications. Minimum Qualifications: An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance, or eligibility for a DOD Secret clearance.Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is requiredMinimum 7 years of experience designing large Campus-Area telecommunications and IT networks including working with ISPs, bandwidth analysis, distribution via Outside Plant cable and wireless technologies, security architectures, Bill of Material development and procurement, and technical oversight of implementations.Minimum 2 years of managing DOD programs/projects and personnel for IT and communications efforts, preferably with OCONUS/global reach.CCNA or equivalent networking certification required.  Additional 5 years of relevant network design experience may be substituted.Possess a current United States passport, or the ability to obtain. Desired Qualifications: Experience working with or for Military Garrison or Installation Support commands.Experience in Military Signal Planning, Training, and Installation Background.Understanding of military organizations and Infantry/Combined Arms operations. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Trace Systems
