Sr. Technical Program Manager, Charging

Role Summary Help Rivian to power electric adventure by taking a leading role in managing the integration of Software in our Charging Products. As part of the Charging and Energy team, you will be responsible for collaborating with Embedded Software teams, Cloud, and Hardware teams, as well as Vehicle Software teams and Product management and development teams to plan, develop, and manage the roadmaps in support of software deliverables for Charging and Energy program milestones. Responsibilities Scoping with technical teams and stakeholders Prioritization of features by delivery milestones, technical risk, and complexity Driving software-hardware integration efforts across the organization throughout the development activities Coordinating roadmaps across organizations and seeking feedback from relevant stakeholders and internal customers Leading and coordinating cross-functional dependencies outside of the Charging and Energy organization Prioritizing and driving technical issues to closure throughout the Charging and Energy organization Providing the Charging and Energy team and executive management periodic progress updates Conducting healthy escalations in advance of a deliverables going out of bounds Identifying and executing continuous process improvements Qualifications BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical fields with 5+ years relevant experience 3+ years of Technical or Engineering Program Management experience Experience with Software Development Lifecycle Experience with developing Charging software and hardware Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Expert in agile and waterfall development process using Jira and other program management tools for sprint planning Understanding of hardware/software bring-up of charging systems, managing project dependencies, and negotiating parallel activities to optimize project execution Proven track record with software development project planning, progress tracking, and risk management Nice to have: Experience with OCPP, OCPI, and ISO 15118 charging standards Pay Disclosure Salary Range for California Based Candidates: $121,500.00 - $151,900.00 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
