The Transactional Storage and Configuration org builds platform solutions that are at the core of Amazons consumer and digital businesses. Our Managed Migration Experience (M2X) is building a comprehensive control plane focused on enabling safe migrations, embracing correctness, security, availability, latency, and cost efficiency, so Amazon’s consumer and digital businesses can operate in new regions. Many of our customers are teir-1/mission critical services, so ensuring minimal impact to Amazon customers during the migration of business-critical infrastructure, data, configuration and network traffic is priority one for our team. Achieving this goal requires strategic partnerships through engagement with technical owners of Amazons core databases, infrastructure management platforms, migration technologies and region flexibility planning initiatives. This team works across ownership boundaries to identify resource migration solutions, bottlenecks, design short/long term mitigations and reduce cost of migration execution.
We are looking for a Senior TPM to help drive the technical strategy for migration orchestration and control planes that sit at the core of our platform. We are looking for someone with the desire and talent to learn a complex space and make an impact in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work with high performing engineers and engineering leaders within and across orgs to define and deliver the future of managed migrations.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
