Rivian’s In-Vehicle Infotainment is an immersive digital experience through which our consumers not only interact with their vehicles but also connect with the outside world to enjoy hands-free entertainment and communications. As an infotainment project manager, you will be instrumental in coordinating planning and execution of these beautiful and intuitive in-vehicle experiences for our Rivian drivers and passengers. For this role, we are looking for an experienced program manager who can bring internal and external stakeholders together for our mapping products to our Rivian users to utilize while on their commute, trips, charge breaks, etc. Responsibilities Plan, maintain and execute complex software schedules for the mapping and navigation applications for all Rivian programs from ideation to launch of products. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external business partners and organize meetings to plan and execute joint roadmaps for the above noted Rivian infotainment products. Create and execute work streams for Agile SW development teams based on program needs. Collaborate with different engineering managers, technical leads, and developers in establishing agile processes that meets the team and program’s needs. Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders like Design, Hardware, Software, Test, and Vendors in identifying team’s dependencies and effectively removing bottlenecks. Anticipate and identify risks, develop actionable mitigation strategies that sets up the team for success. Provide strong leadership by reframing problems when the team is faced with ambiguity, obstacles/deadlocks and steer them towards solving prioritized problems. Expertly manage stakeholder expectations for both technical and non-technical issues when the team encounters challenging issues or obstacles. Take keen interest in product requirements and pay close attention to details when planning projects. Collaborate with marketing and customer research teams to surface product usage patterns to leadership to aid product roadmap decisions. Qualifications BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical fields 6+ years (preferred) of experience in Technical or Engineering program management or engineering leadership roles Excellent critical thinking and experienced in handling trade-offs. Proven leader who can take full ownership with proactive attitude. Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills. Expert in agile processes and running SW teams using JIRA, Confluence, and other program management tools. Experience working with map solutions providers and navigation systems General understanding of mapping system concepts such as gps/gnss, cloud systems, search and routing engines, etc. Pay Disclosure Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $167,000 - $209,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
