Sr. Technical Proposal Manager
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Technical Proposal Manager in St. Louis, Missouri. This role involves coordinating and preparing commercial proposals in line with client requirements and company policies. The Sr. Technical Proposal Manager will also be tasked with executing and producing proposals, responding to RFP/RFI requests, and collaborating with the overall commercial operations team. This position expects you to work in a hybrid model with partial remote and on-site obligations. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and prepare commercial offers in compliance with client requirements and company policy. • Execute and produce proposal projects, RFP/RFI responses. • Participate as a key member of the commercial operations team. • Manage documentation, scheduling, and coordination within the team. • Ensure the assigned deliverables are produced within the designated timeline, quality parameters, corporate approval procedures, commercial/bid strategy, and client/RFP requirements. • Collaborate with Commercial Leader, Product Management, Sales personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure all parts of the response meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards. • Structure, develop, write, and edit proposals and proposal responses sections in a creative, compelling, and compliant manner. • Serve as the central ComOps point of contact for all project opportunity requests for RFI/RFQ/RFP/Proposals/Quotes. • Conduct weekly operations review meetings and ensure documentation is logged in the system appropriately. • Manage and maintain proposal files, schedule meetings, develop and issue assignment and response schedules, following up with content providers, and monitor timelines/deadlines to ensure timely proposal completion and submittal. Requirements • Proven experience in Sales and Business Development • Strong knowledge of Documentation and Operations processes • Familiarity with Procedures, Compliance, and Quality Review • Experience in Production, dealing with Stakeholders, and Shipping • Ability to interpret and apply Specification and Company Policy • Proficiency in Compliance Functions and Proofreading • Track record of delivering Deliverables within the stipulated Timeline • Excellent Coordination skills to Schedule Meetings and manage Templates • In-depth understanding of Quality Standards in Product Management • Ability to create Compelling Content for proposals • Experience with Request For Proposal (RFP) process • Knowledge of ST Microcontroller will be a plus.
