Sr. Technology and Data Analytics Coordinator
**Responsibilities** The Senior IT Building Management System (BMS) Analyst is responsible for the integration, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure within Building Management Systems. This role bridges the gap between traditional BMS and IT, ensuring robust network support, data security, and interoperability. The Senior IT BMS Analyst will support BMS operations by managing network connectivity, troubleshooting system issues, implementing cybersecurity measures, and analyzing data to optimize building performance and energy efficiency **Job Title: Sr. Building Management System Analyst** **Location: Remote** **Department:** **IT Application Technology** **Job Type: Full Time** **Salary Range: $110,090 - $135,995 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)** **Qualifications** **Education** Required: B.S. Computer Science, electrical engineering, or equivalent job experience. Preferred: Masters Degree **Experience** Required: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in IT within Building Management Systems or building automation, including: - Cybersecurity - Data management - BMS network architecture Preferred: N/A **License(s)** Required: N/A Preferred: Certification in IT (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, CISSP) or building automation (e.g., LEED, CEM) is preferred. **Special Skills** Required: Proficiency in networking, firewall management, and cybersecurity best practices for BMS. • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making and problem-solving. • Familiarity with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) for automation and data analysis. • Excellent communication, project management, and team collaboration skills. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data integrity and security. • Familiarity with protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and other building automation communication standards. • Strong understanding of BMS platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens) and IT infrastructure (e.g., networks, firewalls, IoT integration Preferred: N/A **Other** Required: Proven communication, presentation, project management, problem solving and technical skills are also required. Candidates must have the ability to assume more than one role on the team, and must have the ability to travel occasionally.
