Location/Division Specific Information:We provide a broad offering of instruments, consumables, software and services that are used for a range of applications in the laboratory, on the production line and in the field. These products and services are used by customers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, government, environmental, and other research and industrial markets, as well as clinical laboratories.
How Will You Make an Impact?:The Test Technician position will be responsible for the alignment and testing of various complex scientific instruments to support the production goals of the work cell. You will be part of an engaging team and collaborate with your colleagues to solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
A Day in the Life:Complete alignment and testing of assemblies and instruments to ensure they meet all quality standards.
Follow work instructions for mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies, material handling, and inventory verification. Trained in multiple areas of production cell and able to troubleshoot technical issues.
Communicates effectively with team members and contributes to a positive team culture
Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environmentKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Proven experience with test result analysis in manufacturingProven track record as a Manufacturing TechnicianDemonstrated prior success as a trainer and peer leaderPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentMay require exerting up to 44 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.What We OfferCompensation
