The Technical Program Manager role will play a key part in managing the electrification of our Last Mile sites in preparation for operating electric delivery vehicles at scale. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for developing the organization’s power demand plan over a 5+ year horizon. This will include building tools to estimate required power, evaluate different power sources and incorporate changes in technology and operations. The Program Manager will develop this plan, evaluate trade-offs and drive broad alignment with key stakeholders. We seek a strong leader who can set priorities, communicate clearly, and consistently deliver results across diverse cross-functional teams. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities - Develop framework and model to forecast power demand and trade-offs between different power sources - Solve complex, technical problems with simple, innovative, and practical solutions - Work with stakeholders to define program scope, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop milestones to ensure timely completion of programs - Track and monitor program progress - Work effectively with senior leadership across multiple organizations and geographies Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
