Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced Global Trade Compliance Program Manager to build upon our governance program and support our expanding business on a broad range of global import and export compliance matters. You will interact with AWS Development, Data Center Engineering, AWS Services, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, and other internal businesses and external stakeholders to drive trade compliance.

Key job responsibilities
- Define and execute strategy for pre-shipment supplier compliance to ensure accuracy.
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization including Import Compliance, Export Compliance, Product Compliance, Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain, etc.
- Build communications and training plans to ensure all internal and external partners are aware and aligned to trade compliance governance processes.
- Build and maintain data-informed metrics and monitor for actionable insights that enhance the trade compliance governance program.
- Engage with software development teams to understand and guide evolving program technology including opportunities to automate manual processes.
- Generate and contribute to performance requirements, timelines, and metrics for all related activities.
- Proactively identify and drive automation, simplification, and process improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain a strict adherence to reporting and assessments
