CNO Financial Group’s Marketing team is seeking a Sr. UI/UX Designer to join our team. Understanding that a great customer experience is the sum of all the micro-experiences a consumer engages in with a brand, the Sr. UI UX Designer will support the strategy, goals, and objectives that will continuously transform our customer experience aligned to the strategic vision of the overall consumer journey.

As a Sr. UI/UX Designer, your responsibilities will include:
Leading the definition and design of the overall feel of the experiences in consideration of a multi-year customer experience roadmap.
Working on projects from inception to launch, performing tasks such as user analysis, requirements definition, conceptual design, interaction design, and interface specification.
Training and leading other designers as needed.
Working independently and in collaboration with other designers and digital leadership to produce concepts and prototypes for internal use, usability testing, and customer review.
Producing multiple concepts and prototypes for internal use, usability testing, and presentation to customers (which typically include Directors and VPs), working independently and in collaboration with UX management and designers.
Evaluating and developing system-level design components that create a unified user experience across the digital ecosystem, providing solutions that improve experiences and not just a solitary feature
Working closely with the Director of Digital Marketing and the marketing team to deliver high-fidelity prototypes for optimal, responsive, mobile-first experiences.
Collaborating with other system designers and the accessibility team to steer the overall direction and ensure inclusive design is upheld.
Initiating, leading, and facilitating design discussions, workshops, and whiteboarding sessions.
The Sr. UI/UX Designer position is well-suited for you if you:
Can closely collaborate with the business, marketing, and technology teams to understand business, technical, and user requirements and dependencies.
Effectively communicate designs, both verbally and visually, to stakeholders and other team members.
Productively address and manage any feedback.
Provide clear documentation for designs and work with agile teams through the implementation process, reviewing and ensuring designs are accurately executed.
Can educate other designers, developers, and product managers on how to use the company design system and evangelize the system.
What you’ll need:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Interactive Design, Information Technology or equivalent.
Typically requires five to seven years of user experience designer, user interface designer, or other equivalent title in web-based design and development.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments where the pace is fast, continuous and a focus on execution is critical
What will set you apart:
Prior industry experience preferred
Previous experience working in Agile delivery environments and omnichannel digital UX/UI design – native app design.

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando, and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US-based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.
All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

Compensation
