By understanding the needs of Vista teams, customers and internal users, you’ll help improve all customer-facing workstreams within the domain as well as its connected experiences. You’ll help us work towards our goals by improving the usability, accessibility, intuitiveness, and localization of our website, email, and SMS communications.

Responsibilities include:
Observe the current user experience to understand where customers need assistance Take a hands-on approach at every stage of the design process – from discovery through to design execution and iteration – to bring ideas to life through user flows, wireframes, and prototypes Advocate for using high-frequency, plain language to build conversational experiences and intuitive interfaces Understand and define how Vista's tone changes across different interactions Identify opportunities to improve content structure and language consistency across end-to-end experiences Partner with data, consumer insights, and UX research partners for foundational guidance on product direction and new concept testing Contribute constructively to design reviews and content scripts Define content concepts across various product, service, and interaction contexts Demonstrate a passion for the craft of writing and build interest and passion for clear, polished language and messaging across our platforms
The position is remote-first, but we have many collaboration spaces across the globe.

3+years’ experience as a content designer working for e-commerce brands, preferably on purchasing and post-order workstreams
Strong experience working with information architecture, user mental models and content systems, frameworks, and patterns
Proven ability in developing high-quality, scalable experiences that position content design thinking at the center of UX project direction
Strong experience in producing data-informed, measurable solutions that consider customer insights and test results
Strong experience leading or influencing projects from strategy to execution, with a proactive and collaborative approach that drives action
Aptitude for building strong relationships with design, creative, technical, and business partners
Excellent spoken and written English
Solid understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
Familiarity working in Figma, Miro, Jira, Trello, and other design software
Nice to Have:An understanding of other languages and the typical challenges of localizing content from English
A passion for communicating and championing content design across the business
Experience with content operations and governance models
Experience as a design mentor and/or coach
