Zonda, a leader in real estate intelligence, is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our team and elevate the user experience of NewHomeSource.com, the go-to platform for new home buyers. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design seamless, engaging, user-centered and intuitive features that both delight our customers and drive business growth.

What You’ll Do:
Contribute to the UX design efforts for NewHomeSource and associated products, crafting user-centric designs that enhance both customer experience and engagement.Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand product goals, user needs, and technical constraints.Design and innovate new features from concept to completion - using data, research, and user feedback to inform design decisions.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with brand guidelines, the design system and best practices as well as conduct user research.Improve existing interfaces to make them more efficient, user-friendly, and accessible for all user types.Stay up-to-date with UX/UI trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve the product experience and team processes.Guide and mentor junior UX/UI designers, fostering a culture of learning and sharing best practices in UX design, design systems, Figma techniques and workflows.
Who You Are:
5+ years of experience in UX design, ideally within a consumer-facing web or mobile platform.Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, user-centered design, accessibility driven outcomes and UX design best practices.Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, variant sets, design tokens, prototyping, and design handoff workflows. You will also be expected to collaborate with Engineering using Figma tools like Dev mode and Code connect. Experience in design system development and capable of both working within and contributing to design system-centered design process. You will be expected to contribute to and evolve a scalable design system in Figma that ensures consistency, efficiency, and flexibility across multiple products, device types and platforms.Detail-oriented design methodology. A meticulous approach to design, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the design system and all user interfaces. Conduct thorough reviews and iterations to uphold the highest design standards.Experience working closely with product management and engineering teams in an agile environment.Ability to turn complex problems into simple, intuitive solutions.Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX projects including both mobile and web solutions.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to a wide audience of disciplines and advocate for user needs across these teams.Competence in other design tools such as Adobe Create Suite.Bonus: Knowledge of or experience in the real estate industry.Bonus: Experience contributing to, and collaborating with engineers using, Storybook.
