The Sr. UX Writer will collaborate across the global organization to develop and deliver best-in-class customer experiences for Max and our partner brands. You’ll be expected to work often autonomously, and in close collaboration with, partners in product design, product management, and a variety of stakeholders including senior leadership, marketing, and legal.ResponsibilitiesExecute UX writing, content strategy and documentation to achieve a cohesive, multiplatform consumer experience, with limited guidance and within a set direction.Create clear, compelling, error-free, and scalable ux copy on deadline that meets brand voice, tone, and product standards and guidelines.Partner with fellow UX writers, product designers, product managers, researchers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to create, evaluate and continuously refine innovative user experiences.Engage in feature development – participating in logic, naming, messaging strategy and information architecture.Ensure all content adheres to legal and ethical standards, as well as best practices (as developed by the UX Writing team).Collaborate to create and maintain UX writing playbooks, language systems, and style guides.Strategize based on solid understanding user experience, various platform technologies, and best practices.Provide rationale behind decisions to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements4+ years experience in UX Writing or CopywritingA portfolio with relevant writing samplesStrong copyediting skillsAbility to work both collaboratively with a team and autonomously as necessaryPositive attitude and adaptive style – the ability to switch seamlessly from one project to the next with ease

Desired CharacteristicsExcellent knowledge of style, American English spelling, grammar, punctuation and usage; international language skills a plusDeep knowledge and experience writing for product environmentsSome fluency in localizationExperience working in high-pressure environment under tight deadlinesKnowledge of emerging trends for digital products and cross-platformintegrationsStreaming service or entertainment backgroundHands-on experience with user research techniques including user testing, personas, user tasks and scenarios, internal and external user interviewsFriendly, outside-the-box thinking; creative problem-solving mastery

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
