Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls.  We manage and partner on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations.  The team comprises chief financial officers who partner with each of our businesses and disciplines including controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax and treasury.

We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as SVP, Product Control Group Manager - Hybrid based in Taguig. In this role, you’re expected to take on: The Product Control Group Manager role, a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to drive efforts to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.

Responsibilities:

Manage, lead and direct a team of professionalsApply an in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributionsEnsure delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses and/or geographic regionsResolve complex and varied issues, taking of an action and weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needsEscalate anomalies and issues in a timely mannerProvide individual performance evaluation, career planning/development and input to compensationAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

10+ years experience in a related roleExperience in financial control, valuation or related disciplineFinancial products and valuation related knowledgeEvidence of robust control focusManagement experienceConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationDemonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/Univesity degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferred
