FlexStaff is seeking a Sr. Vice President of Nursing for our client, an organization that provides housing and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity based in Manhattan, requiring periodic field visits to ensure best nursing practices across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develop a nursing infrastructure and clinical practice plan that supports team-based care.
+ Developing and implementing nursing best practices in accordance with regulatory requirements.
+ Cultivate a continuous learning environment that promotes professional education, team-based learning, and autonomous nursing practice.
+ Lead clinical practice improvements by leveraging key performance indicators, technology-driven outcome measurement, and creating innovative care models.
+ Provide oversight and ensure compliance with all clinical legal and regulatory requirements.
+ Establishing continuous performance improvement standards and formulating systems to ensure continuous quality improvement.
+ Collaborating with Finance department to determine a staffing plan that meets the vision and objectives of the nursing department.
+ Evaluating performance of nursing team and setting goals to meet nursing vision and strategic plan.
+ Establishing effective relationships and open communication between the nursing staff and the multidisciplinary team.
+ Participating in committees and representing the nursing department in community outreach efforts.
+ Collaborating with Grant Writer for funding the design and evaluation of new models of care.
REQUIREMENTS
+ A minimum of 10 years demonstrated and progressive nursing leadership experience in a complex environment. OPWDD, DOHMH, NYC ACS, DYCD, OCFS are a strong plus
+ BSN and Master's degree in nursing
+ NYS RN License
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
The salary range for this position is $175,000-$190,000/year
